Today is the International Women’s Day, and I am so thankful for all the congrats I have recieved during the day. Congratulations to all you wonderful women out there! My celebration is (as usual) jasmine tea and something sweet. Today’s twist: Brownie cupcakes with chocolate chip cookie dough frosting. Thursday inspiration in few links below:
This fine Saturday night I’m staying in making chicken stock (What? I like my food made from scratch. And yes, I feel weird for choosing Saturday night to make stock.). My father is coming to lunch tomorrow, so preparations are to be made. For dessert: Panna cotta with passion fruit coating. I am celebrating this geeky Saturday night with a quality check for tomorrow’s dessert. Because I’m worth it.
New twist to the chocolate chip cookies: Sprinkle some sel de mer on top right before you place the baking spread in the oven, delicious! This cacke stand of glass was a gift from myself to me, I bought it at an antique shop near by where I live.
My only New Year’s resolution for 2012 is to celebrate a little bit every day. It could be to watch a great movie, make an extra luxurious dinner on a tuesday night, drink that exclusive tea or to buy those shoes. The days fly by so fast, so I think it’s important to celebrate and appreciate every single day to get the most out of my happy little life. Images: 1 // 2 // 3 // 4
